Action timeline

May 2004 – The Center for Biological Diversity petitioned to protect the white fringeless orchid under the Endangered Species Act.

July 12, 2011 – The Center reached a landmark settlement with the Fish and Wildlife Service compelling the agency to move forward in the protection process for 757 species, including the white fringeless orchid.

September 14, 2015 – In accordance with the Center's 757 species agreement, the Service proposed to list the white fringeless orchid under the Endangered Species Act.
