TUCSON, Ariz.― Tucson conservation and human-rights groups are joining Pueblo High School students to host a half-day environmental forum Saturday on climate science and advocacy training.
The Climate Jubilee will include presentations on climate change and community engagement, as well as music and art. During bilingual listening sessions, community members will discuss local consequences of the climate crisis and what to do about it. Participants will have the chance to send a video to elected officials urging climate action.
What: Public forum on climate science and advocacy, including climate experts, music, tabling and a community conversation. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
When: Saturday, Feb. 29, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Who: The event is sponsored by the Center for Biological Diversity, Sierra Club, LUCHA, Defenders of Wildlife and Pueblo High School. Music by Las Trillizas y Dulce.
