SAN FRANCISCO— Climate scientist Mike Mann, community organizer Andres Soto and investigative journalist Antonia Juhasz will expose the fossil fuel industry’s latest efforts to block a just and equitable transition away from dirty fossil fuel production at a public event on Dec. 10 in San Francisco.
The panel discussion will be moderated by climate attorney Kassie Siegel of the Center for Biological Diversity. A mixer with food and drinks will follow the panel.
“As the climate emergency inflicts growing damage in California and around the world, we need to expose the fossil fuel industry’s dangerous denial and shifting tactics to block the needed fossil fuel phaseout,” said Shaye Wolf, climate science director at the Center for Biological Diversity. “Our planet’s future depends on strategic action to win the climate solutions that science and justice demand.”
