The Center for Biological Diversity is a national, nonprofit conservation organization with more than 1.7 million members and online activists dedicated to the protection of endangered species and wild places. Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) is a nonprofit organization that speaks on behalf of environmental and public health professionals, land managers, scientists, enforcement officers, and other civil servants to seek a higher standard of environmental ethics, scientific integrity, and legal accountability within health and environmental agencies. 350 Colorado is a nonprofit organization with approximately 20,000 members statewide whose mission is to build a movement to solve the climate crisis and transition to a sustainable future. Sierra Club’s mission is to explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth; to practice and promote the responsible use of the earth’s ecosystems and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives. In addition to helping people from all backgrounds explore nature and our outdoor heritage, Sierra Club works to promote clean energy, safeguard the health of our communities, protect wildlife, and preserve our remaining wild places through grassroots activism, public education, lobbying, and legal action. Sierra Club currently has approximately 722,600 members nationwide, and 21,000 members in Colorado.
