The Center for Biological Diversity had some extraordinary moments in 2016: our counter-protest at the armed occupation of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, our securing of 27 million acres of protected habitat for endangered species, our achievement — along with local Arizona partners — of superstar status for El Jefe the American jaguar. But these achievements are just the tip of the iceberg of our work that year, in all of our programs.
